Southridge Youth Cheer is a non-competitive program for girls and boys in 3rd - 8th grades who live in the Southridge High School boundaries. (See Boundary Information Below) We cheer for the Southridge Youth Football program on Saturdays from September to the end of October. Each year we have about 90+ cheerleaders that are coached by the Southridge High School cheerleaders. Cheerleaders are placed on teams based on their grade in school that fall. Teams are comprised of 3rd & 4th graders, 5th & 6th graders, 7th graders (JV) ,and 8th graders (Varsity). |

| We begin on-line registration on April 1st and it closes June 1st. Registration fees are $25.00 and are due at the time of the uniform fitting. | |

Our first fitting is May 19th (9am - 1pm) and a second and fitting on June 2nd (1pm - 4pm). You need to attend only ONE fitting. Fittings will take place at a location other than THPRD. The new location is in the Scholls Nimbus Corporate Center off of Scholls Ferry and I-217. Address is:

| Practices begin mid August. We are tentative to start August 20. The first two weeks would be daily Monday - Thursday - times TBA. After school starts practices would be twice a week for 1 ½ hours. Practices are held at Conestoga Middle School and routines are taught by the highschool cheer squad based on their availability. You will to let your coach and team parent know in advance if you need to miss a practice or a game. Routines are choreographed based on the starting numbers of girls for each team. At every practice board members are there as well as volunteer team parents for safety reasons. | |
Boys and girls in grades 3 through 8 are eligible to participate in our program and must reside within the following Beaverton School District boundaries. If you are new to Southridge Youth Cheer, we strongly encourage you to make sure that you reside within our boundaries. If you are not within our boundaries, you will not be allowed to participate in Southridge Youth Cheer.
